FAQ’s

WHAT MAKES FRONTLINE SPINE AND SPORT DIFFERENT FROM OTHER CLINICS?

All pain is not always as simple as just a bone being out of place. Most cases have developed over time and require more than just a “quick fix.” Through complete functional movement screens, we can narrow down the exact problem and the exact tissue(s) that need to be fixed. Manual therapy, joint manipulation, therapeutic exercise, or a combination of all three may be needed to fix your problem. Better diagnosis in our office, means better treatment, and better results for you!

Addressing the soft tissues (muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, fascia) allows us to fill a huge missing component of musculoskeletal pain and movement dysfunctions. You can injure your soft tissues acutely from excessive force our trauma, or slowly over time through repetitive motions.

The formula is quite simple. Healthy movement results in, Healthy tissue, which results in Healthy Load. Frontline Spine & Sport is proud to be the Soft-Tissue Expert’s in the Quad Cities and surrounding area!

AREN'T ALL CHIROPRACTOR'S THE SAME?

Not at all. Many people are surprised to learn that most chiropractors practice differently. Based on our studies, travels, and clinical research, we understand that the combination of joint and muscle manipulation, rehabilitation and therapeutic exercises offers patients superior, results-oriented care. Because there were no clinics operating under this philosophy in the Quad Cities, we established our own.

Our knowledge of anatomy and the body's mechanics, coupled with our techniques, provide us with the insight to know when a joint should be adjusted, when muscular or rehabilitative therapy is appropriate and when an integrated treatment program is necessary.

This comprehensive, evidence-based approach produces results in an efficient time frame. Most of our patients are excused from care between one and five visits depending on the complexity of their condition.

HOW LONG WILL MY APPOINTMENT BE?

Your first visit will run approximately 40 minutes and includes a detailed assessment, accurate diagnosis, report of findings and customized treatment plan. Follow up visits last anywhere from 20 - 30 minutes.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FOR MY INITIAL VISIT?

Please arrive 15 minutes ahead of your scheduled appointment time even if you have filled out your paperwork ahead of time online. In order to submit to insurance, we must have additional forms filled out in the office at the time of your appointment. Please bring your insurance cards and a valid id. We ask that you bring or wear comfortable clothing to help eliminate any movement restrictions during the visit.

The initial visit typically lasts 30-45 min and includes a functional assessment, accurate diagnosis, report of findings and treatment plan. Dr. Moreno will also discuss any other complicating factors that may be present or could potentially become a problem. The goal of any treatment is to get you back to functioning as best as possible without pain and limitation.
